產業升級 鞏固優勢 迎接新機遇與挑戰

三年前,香港葡萄酒商會創會成立,在業界及各方鼎力支持下,商會成立為業界帶來一股新的動力。
政府自2008年實施葡萄酒零關稅,全面改變香港的酒業生態,本港從事葡萄酒行業人數激增,帶動相關業務強勁的增長和發展,為本地創造更多商機和就業機會,更重要的是零關稅的背後,令香港成為一個免稅港口,為香港作為亞洲葡萄酒中心輻射中國及亞洲鄰近市場,創造得天獨厚的優勢條件。

香港葡萄酒商會自2010年成立以來,在各方面取得顯著的成績,肩負為香港打造成為「亞洲葡萄酒中心」的重任,過去三年,亦達到顯著成果。

香港葡萄酒商會在本地舉辦多項活動及研討會,為本地業界提供資訊支援,其中就政府去年推出「BUD專項基金」舉辦了兩次專題午餐聚會;此外,去年成立「餐飲文化發展委員會」,積極推廣餐飲文化;明年將會推出食肆葡萄酒開瓶費用消費訊息分級制度,藉此鼓勵葡萄酒進入各級別的食肆,成為日常用餐的一部份。

商會亦積極與各政府部門溝通,當中包括環保署、海關以及中央政策組等部門,參與討論有關業界政策的咨詢,近期便參與了商務及經濟發展局發起的「香港葡萄酒業人力資源調查專家委員會」的工作。而在年初,環境局提出向業界徵收玻璃樽費的立法建議,商會就建議向業界收集意見,再積極向當局及公眾發表業界立場,引起廣泛的關注,及後成立「葡萄酒樽回收工作小組」,為嚮應環保坐言起行。

在推動貿易方面,商會走遍國內城市,組織考察及展貿活動,積極宣傳推廣香港的「亞洲葡萄酒中心」形象。最令人欣慰的是,在這短短三年內,商會已在香港、內地各城市建立良好而專業的聲譽,開通重要的關係網絡,受到業界及各方的認同和支持,這些都是對我們的工作一個很充份的肯定。

商會將於來年度,推廣及舉辦更多巡迴展覽活動,以開拓更多的內地城市成為新興的葡萄酒市場,商會另外亦會致力發展各項服務產品,鼓勵業界更多地利用香港各種服務配套措施,讓香港成為通往內地市場最便利的橋樑,吸引更多海外投資者到港,裨益本地經濟。

香港需要不斷向前邁進,更應把握目前的優勢,把葡萄酒產業升級,發展成為知識型及服務型的產業,在教育培訓、商貿活動、拍賣事業、展覽服務、品牌管理、倉存物流等各方面,讓香港成為全球葡萄酒綜合的服務平台。

面對世界形勢不斷變化,國家新政策下,內地正全力發展自由貿易區,上海自貿區亦於今年九月正式掛牌運作,當局正於外高橋區域全力打造一座「亞洲酒業集散中心」,有關新政策無可避免將對香港帶來新的挑戰與機遇,葡萄酒商會將會更加致力於團結業界、鞏固香港葡萄酒業的優勢與地位。



Upgrading, consolidating, accepting new challenges-another year for the HKWMCC

3 years ago, I have founded the HKWMCC, and thanks to all of you, we have made a presence in the wine industry.

In 2008 the government abolished duty on imported wines, this had completely changed the wine scene here; the number of people entering the industry has multiplied tremendously, and related businesses have also developed and grown. This created numerous opportunities for the commerce and job sectors. Furthermore, the tax free situation turns Hong Kong into a free port to create advantageous business opportunities for the locals, especially in terms of being a wine centre for China and other Asian countries. In the past three years, the Chamber of Commerce had achieved outstanding results in many areas, actively promoting Hong Kong's image as the Asia’s Wine Hub.

One of our focuses in Hong Kong is to provide information to the wine industry through forms of seminars and business luncheons. Last year the government launched the ‘BUD Fund’ and for that purpose we held 2 luncheons in helping fellow members to understand more about it. The ‘Committee of Dining Culture Study & Development’ was also set up to promote wine with dining in a general manner. In the coming year we will also launch a corkage campaign which introduces different levels of corkage fees in order to encourage having wine with your meals.

The Chamber has been keen on communicating with various Government departments on policy matters regarding to the wine industry as well, which includes the Environmental Protection Department (EPD), Customs & Excise Department and Central Policy Unit on consultation work. Early this year the Environment Bureau released a consultation on a ‘glass bottle levy’ on beverages, hitting wine bottles first among others. The Chamber has collected opinions and spoken on behalf of the wine industry, raising public awareness and subsequently forming a wine glass bottle collection unit as our environmental initiative.

In terms of trade promotion, The Chamber has gone nationwide in China to different cities, organizing field trips and trade fairs, promoting Hong Kong as Asia’s Wine Hub. In just three years time, the HKWMCC developed important networks, and recognized by many parties in the industry.

In the coming year the Chamber will promote and organize more trade exhibits around china to explore more market possibilities. New services are developing and in the making for those who wishes to utilize Hong Kong’s advantage to enter China which in turn benefits our economy as well.

Other elements in the industry such as education, auctions, exhibitions, branding and logistics are equally important for us to act as a comprehensive wine platform. We have to excel in these areas and cope evolving structures of the world’s economy.

Faced with rapid changing of global situation, the greatest ideal of the Chamber is to unite all stakeholders of the industry, strengthen Hong Kong's leading position in the wine business, thereby making contribution to the industry and Hong Kong as a whole.

作為一個商會,自然肩負對業界的使命,「香港葡萄酒商會」的宗旨如下:
1.團結香港葡萄酒業界力量;
2.為葡萄酒業界和政府提供雙向溝通渠道;
3.協調業界關係,讓業界充分發揮企業特色和優勢;
4.協助業界開闢中國內地市場,發掘資源,建立信息平台,為香港葡萄酒業創造中國內地營商優勢。



回想與發展

回想在2009年尾,商會在蘊釀成立之初,遇到重重困難,業界內精英人才輩出,無論營商、物流、市場推廣、餐飲、品酒等等各方面均有豐富人才及經驗優勢,但是跨出本位,進而討論更闊層面業界需要,似乎躊躇難行,建構一個共同平台,又難一蹴即就,須要多方面界內同業包容接納,開誠互勉,發展共同理念而努力。至今,商會能得以成立,實為各方面努力成果,難能可貴!

為配合壯大業界發展需要,商會除理事會外,豁下設立多個功能性諮詢委員會,為業界發展共同利益而努力。
